Warner Bros. and A.J. Calloway have “mutually agreed” to part ways as he is leaving Extra over sexual assault allegations.
“The company has investigated the claims made into Mr. Calloway’s conduct and he and the company have mutually agreed to part ways,” the company said in a statement.
Calloway was a host at the show since 2005, and was suspended in February after receiving “multiple allegations of sexual assault,” THR reports.
After the allegations came to light, his lawyer said, “Mr. Calloway maintains that these unsubstantiated allegations are patently false. He vehemently denies that he ever assaulted anyone and looks forward to clearing his name.”
