The Beastie Boys have released a digital version of To the 5 Boroughs to celebrate the album’s 15th anniversary.
The deluxe edition features some of the LP’s B-sides and rarities, in addition to the entire original record.
There are remixes by Just Blaze and Blur guitarist Graham Coxon and a few others.
“Hello, everybody – To the 5 Boroughs came out 15 years ago today,” the Beastie Boys wrote on Twitter. “For the occasion, twelve rare tracks have just been released digitally in addition to the original 15 songs on the album.”
To the 5 Boroughs debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it was released in 2004.
In May 2019, the surviving Beastie Boys Michael Diamond and Adam Horovitz celebrated the 25th anniversary of their fourth studio album Ill Communication by releasing a mini-documentary on Amazon Music.
