Cameron Boyce & Luke Perry Were Left Out of Oscars 2020 In Memoriam, Here’s Why

Many fans were left quite upset at The Academy for not including Cameron Boyce and Luke Perry during the “In Memoriam” segment at the 2020 Oscars.

“The Academy receives hundreds of requests to include loved ones and industry colleagues in the Oscars In Memoriam segment,” The Academy said in a statement to E! News. “An executive committee representing every branch considers the list and makes selections for the telecast based on limited available time. Billie Eilish performed a cover of The Beatles while paying tribute to the late stars, which kicked off with a tribute to Kobe Bryant.
