Charlotte Crosby hit out at her former Geordie Shore co-star Vicky Pattison after she criticised the show.
Vicky , who quit the MTV show in 2014, recently slammed the show, describing it as "toxic".
Talking about her reality TV career on Jamie Laing and Francis Boulle's podcast Private Parts, the 31-year-old said: "The high point of I'm A Celeb were the trials and challenges. You get this rush and sense of achievement.
"But Geordie Shore was about fighting and f*****g. It is toxic. And the jungle is about proving yourself, coming together and making the nation fall in love with you. It's the complete opposite."
But Charlotte, who starred in the show until 2016, defended it.
During an exclusive chat with Mirror Online, the 29-year-old said: "I think we must have had very different experiences and maybe we were just very different people because everyone else from Geordie Shore seems to be having a really great life and thinks of it as a massively amazing experience, so maybe she just should have never went on."
Charlotte also spoke out about the recent criticism of the reality TV industry and the call for more aftercare for stars, saying she's alway been looked after by MTV.
She told us: "I've always had a really good experience from start to finish. Every show that I've been on with MTV I've had aftercare, before-care, if I've ever needed to speak to anyone during filming, it's always sorted and arranged at the drop of a hat.
"I can only speak from experience and all of my experiences with most of the shows I've been on, I've received excellent support and care."
Since leaving Geordie Shore, Charlotte has continued her career in reality television.
Last year, she landed her very own series, The Charlotte Show, with the third series set to kick off tonight.
Charlotte, who is in a relationship with former Love Island star Josh Ritchie, said: "You'll see more of mine and Josh's relationship, my mam and dad move out, we go to Brazil, obviously my best friend Lauren has got engaged so she's got wedding planning, and I had my implants removed."
Talking about having her breast implants removed, she added: "I feel amazing.
"I'm so pleased I did it, I'm so happy.
"It's each to their own, I wouldn't go round saying everyone needs to get their implants removed but I'm happy I did it."
The trailer for the show sees Charlotte talking about wanting a baby and arguing with Josh, 25.
But she said it wouln't be a normal relationship if they didn't fight from time to time.
Charlotte, who also hosts MTV show Just Tattoo Of Us, said: "I mean, in a relationship you're always going to have your ups and downs, there's always going to be rough patches and it's never going to be plain sailing, so I really struggle to think there'll be a series where you won't see me and Josh have one argument at some point.
"We obviously had arguments but it's just about getting through it.
"People just wouldn't really relate to it [if there were no arguments]. We're really good now."
Charlotte has experienced the dark side of being a reality TV star too, and is often faced with backlash on social media from people who say she's taken plastic surgery too far after altering her look.
But she doesn't care what anyone else thinks.
She said: "Everyone's always going to have trolls no matter what they're doing. If it wasn't about having a nose job it would be about what they've said or what they're wearing or how they've behaved or what colour hair they've got or their hairstyle.
"You can't please everyone so you've just got to please yourself. You don't live your life for anyone else but yourself."
* Series three of The Charlotte Show starts tonight at 10pm on MTV
