Jesy denied rumours of a romance between her and Sean, but has since been pictured with Sean’s hand on her back.

And Chris is said to be “gutted” by Jesy’s rumoured budding relationship with the actor.

A source has told The Sun Online: “Chris was really in love with Jesy and wanted it to work.

“He thought they were going to be together for ever, so seeing pictures of her with Sean’s arms on her bare skin, looking warm and relaxed, was a hard pill to swallow. He’s gutted.

“He’s aware that Sean and Jesy became more friendly and started hanging out soon after they split.

“Breakups are hard enough so with lockdown to deal with as well, it has been doubly tough for him.

“Fortunately, he’s got good friends and family around to cheer him up.”

It comes after Chris broke his silence on his split from Jesy, admitting he was “heartbroken”.

Speaking on Vicky Pattison’s The Secret To: Showing Your Sensitive Side podcast, Chris explained: “It was tough, and when everyone’s like, time’s a healer, you don’t believe it when you’re in the moment.”

TV star Vicky then explained how she felt heartbroken following her split from ex-fiance John Noble, to which Chris replied: “I can relate to that, because I don’t think I’ve ever felt heartbroken or anything.

“And then a couple of week’s down the line, you start thinking about it less and less. And the next thing, you’re good as gold.”

Chris then shared his plans to start dating again, however joked that he feels “useless” with women.

“I feel like completely useless with women! Not useless! But this whole lockdown takes you a step back. I feel like I’ve been living through the stone ages where..”

Vicky chimed: “You’ve been writing women letters and that?”

As Chris replied: “I do that anyway! Haha! No, it’s one of them things. This lockdown feels like it’s gone on for so long. I’ll be alright, I’ll get straight back into it.”
