Chrissy Teigen releases sweet snap of newborn daughter who ‘looks just like sister Luna’

New mum-of-three Chrissy Teigen has shared an adorable snap of her newborn daughter, and fans were quick to point out the resemblance to her older sister Luna.

Singer John Legend reportedly announced that his wife had giving birth the same day he was performing at a private concert, which was soon confirmed by John and Chrissy's representatives.

A few days later, fans got a glimpse of their new bundle of joy, who they named Esti Maxine Stephens, and they immediately sent their congratulations to John and Chrissy.

Chrissy has now shared a new pic of 10 day old baby Esti as she sleeps on her mum's chest wrapped in a fluffy grey blanket.

Chrissy, who is also mum to Luna, six, and four year old Miles, captioned the photo: "look at u out here lookin like a baby".

As this was the first close up photo shared of Esti, fans were shocked to see how much she looked like her older sister Luna.

One follower commented: "Them [lip emoji] so beautiful looks just like her big sis Luna congratulations to you all."

A second person said: "She's precious [heart emoji] and I see Luna in her face" as a third person added: "Gorge. Shocker."

However, Kris Jenner compared Esti to Chrissy, as she said: "Soooo beautiful just like her mama."

Chrissy first announced her pregnancy back in August 2022, when she shared a picture of her baby bump and explained how 'joy has filled' their home after a hard few years.

"The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again," she said.

"1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way. Every appointment I’ve said to myself, “ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce” but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.

"I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.

"Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!"

The pregnancy announcement came after the couple experienced a heartbreaking pregnancy loss in October 2020 as they lost baby Jack 20 weeks into pregnancy.

John previously opened up about their heartache after losing their baby in an interview with The Guardian.

He said: "We were tested. It was a tragedy. But I think it strengthened our resolve and our resilience because we were there for each other.

"We came out even more sure of who we were as a couple and as a family.
