The ‘Rockstar’ hitmaker makes an appearance at the ‘Social Knockout 2’ boxing event at the city’s Coca Cola Arena to be a hype man for boxer Rashed ‘Money Kicks’ Belhasa.
AceShowbiz –DaBaby might be embarrassed for his recent stunt in Dubai. After failing to crash a boxing ring during a match, the “Rockstar” hitmaker found himself being made fun of by his fans.
When appearing at the “Social Knockout 2” boxing event at the city’s Coca Cola Arena, DaBaby escorted boxer Rashed “Money Kicks” Belhasa to the ring to fight against social media influencer, Ajmal Khan. After Belhasa won the Friday, October 15 match, the emcee entered the ring to celebrate his victory.
When flying into the ring, DaBaby unfortunately got tripped up by the ropes. He then fell into the ring, prompting the audience to scream in shock. Though so, he was quick to get back on his feet before raising Belhasa’s hand.
Sharing a video capturing the moment was Belhasa on his Instagram account. “Thank you my brother @dababy for the incredible show last night and the support #welivinglife #dababy,” he wrote, adding a fire, 100 and crying laughing emojis.
After the clip went viral, many on Twitter poked fun at DaBaby. “Smh bruh Dababy a fool for this,” one person wrote alongside a clown emoji. Another penned, “That video was DaBaby jumping in the ring got me ctfu.” A third added, “I laughed really hard at Dababy falling into the boxing ring from the top rope. So I might need to avoid boxing rings for a while.”
DaBaby’s Dubai trip arrived just days after Fat Joe drew backlash for describing the “Suge” spitter as the 2021 version of late Tupac Shakur. Despite the criticism, Fat Joe doubled down on his opinion. “Who’s the new Tupac? don’t know… He was the realist rapper ever,” he elaborated during an Instagram Live on October 13. “Now when I think of Pac… I’m thinking DaBaby a real one… whether you like it or don’t like it.”
“I believe he lives what he raps. And that’s very much like Tupac,” the Bronx native, real name Joseph Antonio Cartagena, further emphasized. “But… Is he is Tupac Shakur? No! No one will ever be Tupac Shakur.”
