Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have reportedly decided to 'split' after almost two years together.
According to a source close to the couple, the pair are "taking a break" with the As It Was singer, 28, keen to focus on his Love on Tour shows, which run until June 2023.
Meanwhile, the director of Don't Worry Darling, 38, is said to be focusing on her children, daughter Daisy, six, and son Otis, eight, and her work in Los Angeles.
Speaking to PEOPLE the insider said: "It's a very amicable decision. They're still very close friends.
A second source told the publication: "Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart."
The celebrity A-listers were first reported to be dating in January 2021 when they were photographed holding hands while attending a friend's wedding.
And even as late as last month, Olivia was spotted at Harry's Harryween concert in Los Angeles on October 31 with her children.
Prior to that, they were snapped sharing a romantic moment on the streets of New York City as the pair kissed.
But it hasn't been all romance and happiness for Harry and Olivia. Over the course of their film Don't Worry Darling there were persistent reports that Olivia was feuding with leading actress Florence Pugh.
The source told PEOPLE that the "public pressure" on them was "difficult" and that they'd endured "ups and downs" throughout their relationship.
The reports reached a point in September where the crew of the film were compelled to release a statement defending the director.
One crew member described the rumours as "absurd gossip" and explained they felt the need to "correct" the anonymous sources.
They went on to describe Olivia as "an incredible leader and director".
Both Harry and Olivia have spoken of their desire to keep their private life away from the public.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, the 38 year old explained why she wanted to keep her romance with Harry a secret. She said: "I think once you crack open the window, you can't then be mad when mosquitos come in."
Harry appears to be of the same belief. In an interview with Rolling Stone in August, he said: "I've never talked about my life away from work publicly and found that it's benefited me positively.
"There's always going to be a version of a narrative, and I think I just decided I wasn't going to spend the time trying to correct it or redirect it in some way."
