Holly Willoughby has been quieter on social media during her summer break as she enjoys time off from This Morning. Tonight, she returned to her Instagram Story to share a selfie in the bath.

The 40-year-old closed her eyes and smiled for the camera as she embraced some alone time at home.

Ensuring nothing was on show, the presenter strategically covered her body with bubbles.

Proving to be a natural beauty, she opted for no make-up as she showcased her radiant skin.

In view of her 7.2 miillion followers, Holly wrote: “Bath day.”

The presenter’s intimate snap comes just weeks after she swiftly deleted a picture of herself in the bath, as fans claimed they could see her reflection.

The picture showed closed blinds and her bath which included chrome taps.

Holly made a heart shape with her bubble bath, adding: “My bath loves [heart emoji] me.”

While many praised her neat bathroom, eagle-eyed fans urged her to be careful as they claimed her reflection could be seen.

Although the reflection wasn’t that clear, Holly swiftly deleted the snap.

She later poked fun at the blunder upon announcing her book ironically titled Reflections.

Taking to Instagram shortly after, she wrote: “Whilst we’re all talking about reflections… this is the only one of me you were meant to see,” alongside a hiding face emoji.

The new book, out in October, is “essentially thoughts and musings from me on inner and outer beauty”.

She added: “We live in a world where so much is about how we present ourselves on the outside and there is fun to be had here but true beauty comes from within.”

In a short clip alongside her post, she could be seen writing “Reflections” on a mirror as she smiled.

Earlier this month, she went on to share another inspirational quote from her book.

It read: “Letting go of the judgement and the negativity makes space for love and kindness and a passion for everything around you and what you do.

“That is true beauty and that is what shines out into the world brighter than anything else.”

Holly shared the quote as she excitedly announced her three-month countdown to its release.

She wrote: “I can’t believe that Reflections is out in less than three months! I’m so excited to start sharing some snippets with you all. Hands up if this resonates with you.

“If you would like to, then the Link to pre-order the book is in my bio #reflections.”
