Instagram page leaking Ferne McCann ‘voice notes’ returns with new name and cryptic post

An Instagram account leaking explosive voice notes which allegedly Ferne McCann has returned to the app, just days after it was shut down.

Formerly posting with the handle lucymay195, the account, which has over 31k followers, is back with the name @ladywhistledown195, in a nod to the fictional whistleblower in the hit Netflix series, Bridgerton.

A post on the Instagram Story also makes another Bridgerton reference, with a quote from the character: "Dear reader, If there's a scandal, I shall uncover it."

The account sent shockwaves last week as it released a series of voice notes that appeared to feature former TOWIE Ferne speaking disparagingly about her pals, Sam Faiers, 31, and her sister,Billie Shepherd, 32.

It was shut down after a "tearful" Ferne McCann reported it to the police.

The first clip sensationally released by the anonymous Instagram account allegedly appears to feature Ferne her using the C-word to talk about her fellow TOWIE star and former BFF Sam, adding: "Her thighs are so big and I looked really skinny today."

Another voice note was then leaked, where a woman, allegedly Ferne, can be heard saying: "She is just a narcissistic b***h.

"It’s just so s**t on people that have worked hard, because she’s got a big following. It’s just ridiculous — it’s out of order."

Yet another voice note followed, and this time, the woman speaking in it took aim at Billie Shepherd, Sam's sister, for calling her son 'Arthur' – the name of Ferne's ex-boyfriend and baby daddy.

In the clip the woman, allegedly Ferne, said: "It feels so weird saying 'Arthur'.

"I can't believe…it's like me having a little boy and calling him 'Greg' [the name of Billie's husband]… anyway, whatever."

The father of Ferne's four year old daughter Sunday is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being found guilty of carrying out an acid attack in 2017. The attack happened in April of that year, one month after Billie's son was born.

Sam and Billie have remained silent about the controversy on social media, and instead they have continued to post sweet family snaps as they stoically ignore the drama.

Ferne is said to have had her "life turned" upside down and "hasn't stopped crying" following the leaked voice notes, leading her to contact Essex police.

The force released a statement on Sunday morning, regarding the issue, which said: "We are investigating a report of malicious communication which was made to us in Brentwood on Thursday 29 September.

"We have spoken to the victim, a woman aged in her 30s, and our enquiries are ongoing."

The account mysteriously disappeared for a few days, before returning with its new name, new warning and previous posts.
