J.Lo’s jet-setting glam is on another level.
The superstar took to Instagram today to show off her latest ensemble while also sharing that she was heading to Washington, D.C., ahead of her performance at the inauguration ceremony for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris tomorrow. For the flight, Lopez wore a full fit courtesy of Italian designer Alberta Ferretti, including a knit crewneck sweater tucked into oversized, harem-style pants; a slouchy wool coat; and a matching fedora, all in varying hues of charcoal gray. Lopez paired the look with oversized sunglasses, a mini leather top-handle bag, and flushed peachy makeup that complemented her signature glossy nude lip.

“DC Bound … ❤️,” wrote Lopez alongside the snapshot, teasing her upcoming performance. Lopez will be joined by fellow entertainers, like Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, and Demi Lovato, in celebrating the incoming administration.
In her recent cover story for ELLE magazine, Lopez shared her thoughts on the 2020 presidential election, stating that she felt obligated to help campaign for the Democratic nominees.
“I’ve told everybody who works around me, all my family, ‘Don’t even talk to me if you haven’t voted.’ The world right now is so confusing to me, because I feel like we all know that things need to change,” Lopez told the magazine. “It doesn’t matter if you’re Republican or Democrat, if you’re looking at the world right now, you know that we can do better—you know that. We can’t stay with [the Trump] administration, we just can’t. It’s the definition of insanity.”
