Kate Garraway has posted footage of the horrifying moment her son Billy was launched off the back of a horse after the animal passed wind.
The 54 year old, who recently shared an update on her husband Derek Draper's condition, took to her Instagram feed to share the clip with her 1million followers.
During his lesson, the 12 year old could be seen dressed in a grey hoodie as he moved his body up and down while the horse, called Banjo, moved in a circle.
The animal then suddenly kicked it's legs up in the air, throwing Billy off while his mum said: "Oh! Okay!" before panning the camera down and finishing the recording in a panic.
In the caption, the mum-of-two, who also shares 15 year old daughter Darcey with husband Derek, told her followers how obsessed her kids are obsessed with the equestrian Olympic competitions.
"Darcey & Billy are are glued to our brilliant competitors in the @olympics equestrian events," she wrote.
"Not least because as @benshephardofficial & I were saying yesterday on @gmb you just never know what’s going to happen when horses are involved."
Kate, whose pal Piers Morgan recently said it was "unfair" that Derek never got the Covid vaccine, went on to address Billy's accident as she continued: "This was Billy’s first attempt at a canter & poor Banjo’s wind meant he came a cropper (listen with sound up & you can actually hear it!) .
"Better out than in ! or maybe better on than off!!?! !"
She ended her update by assuring people that her son is doing fine as she added: "Billy is fine by the way and he & Banjo still firm friends !! xxxx".
Fans were quick comment on the footage, wishing Billy well after his tumble as one person wrote: "Oh no my heart missed a bit at that footage !! I hope he’s ok bless him !" with a shocked emoji and a clapping hands emoji.

"Oh bless him…he was doing so well..the best thing is to get straight back in he saddle..xx," another said with three red heart emojis.
While a third added: "Aaaw bless him, good on Billy for getting back on. Poor windy Banjo, haha!! Xx".
Billy's bad luck comes after he was recently forced to self-isolate after one of his classmates had caught Covid-19.
Figures have shown that one in every seven pupils had to take part in lessons from home because of a positive case at school.
Speaking on GMB, Kate admitted that her son Billy was "one of them last week".
Adding further context, she said: "One of his band tested positive, so to be safe, they were all at home," before cheekily quipping: "I mean he wasn't heartbroken."
