Ahead of Prince Philip's funeral, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle stepped in to peacemaker for their husbands Prince William and Prince Harry.
The brothers, who reportedly reunited with Prince Charles following the service, hadn't been seen publicly since 2020 and all eyes were on them as they came together once again.
Now it has emerged that Kate and Meghan, both 39, wanted the brothers to make peace before their final goodbye to their grandad.
Prior to the emotional day, a source told new magazine: "All eyes will be on the brothers when they see each other for the first time.

"No doubt it will be a big moment for them both, but they will likely put all differences to one side for the sake of their grandfather.
"Kate has been instrumental in playing peacemaker with them as Harry landed in the UK, was keen for them to speak and meet beforehand.
"She's always had a close bond with Harry and would love a resolution," the insider explained.
They continued: "Meghan wants the feud to be healed too. Especially with another baby on the way.

"They both want what's best for the families and both tried to play peacemaker at the start of the tension."
Despite there being some sort of animosity expected between the pair at the funeral, it seems that couldn't be further from the truth.
The brothers walked together as they left St George's Chapel following Prince Philip's funeral and chatted away, with Kate joining them after the service.
"It's fantastic to see Harry walking between Kate and William," body language expert Derek Heron told OK! exclusively.
"That's a huge acceptance. They are still close. There is still a massive brotherly bond there."

The body language expert went on to claim that the siblings seemed to be relaxed as they enjoyed one another's company.
