For the Academy Awards, Kylie Jenner took fashion over comfort all the way.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder attended Vanity Fair‘s annual Oscars after-party, brushing elbows with the likes of Tracee Ellis Ross and Laura Dern. Accompanied by sister Kim Kardashian West and brother-in-law Kanye West, Jenner hit the red carpet in a glittering navy-blue creation by Ralph & Russo. The ensemble featured a black crinoline frill appliqué and was fully embellished with crystals and sequins.
On Instagram, Jenner joked, “Couldn’t really sit in this but it was worth it 😊.”
Of course, it’s not really a party unless you go prepared with at least two completely different looks.
Pivoting away from the cool blue sequins she showed off on the red carpet, Jenner went for a red-hot gown by Vivienne Westwood. The off-the-shoulder dress included a high leg slit; she accessorized with layers of diamonds from Lorraine Schwartz and nude Christian Louboutin heels.
Jenner captioned her second look on Instagram, simply writing, “After party ♥️.”
Meanwhile, Kardashian West’s after-party look was an innovative ruffled creation by Alexander McQueen. Tresses of cream fabric cascaded down from a structured corset. Her husband complemented her soft gown with a buttery leather blazer by Alfred Dunhill.
