Oti Mabuse, 30, revealed that she is launching her first-ever children’s book, Dance With Oti. The Strictly Come Dancing 2020 star’s latest venture hopes to unite children as they come together for their “first dance class” and shows them how to have “fun” while performing.
We had so much time to think
Oti first showcased the project on her Instagram story, as she uploaded a first glimpse of the book’s cover.
The dancer wrote “special announcement” followed by a swipe up link to pre-order a copy on Amazon.
The online retailer described the picture book as a “celebration” of dance and movement for kids.
Oti also shared a photo of herself wearing a gorgeous turquoise jumper, while holding a copy of the book on her Instagram page.
Underneath she typed: “I actually can’t believe I’m holding it in my hands!!!!!
“Being in lockdown we had so much time to think, to reflect, to write and you prepare ourselves for the unknown.
“And I feel so filled with gratitude that @walkerbooksuk have been so open hearted to allow me to write, @samara_hardy for beautiful illustrations, @antonyread and @lauransinclair for being absolute rockstars and my husband @mariusiepure who’s been a massive support through all my ideas at 3am in the morning.
“And my family who inspire and motivate me… oh wow! #feelingblessed #dancewithoti #dancebook #kidsbooks #learntodance.”(sic)
Her fans were quick to throw their support behind her latest project in the comment section.
One wrote: “My daughter will be so happy.”
Another replied: “Can’t wait to get this for my little girl.”
A third commented: “It looks great congratulations.”

The star recently announced on the picture-sharing app that she has launched her very own dance studio, that will be aimed at all ages and abilities.
The pro dancer also teased fans that the studio opening would see some of their “favourite” stars make an appearance.
She wrote: “Let’s do this! This is an absolute dream.
“Come join us for safe dance classes with some of your favourite dancing stars in our brand north London new dance studio.
“We have worked hard to create a beautiful, uplifting environment for all those who would love to learn how to dance.
“No dance experience needed only your passion – Can’t wait to see you there,” she added.
