Perry Farrell Hints Lollapalooza Could Return ‘Soon’ After Getting COVID Vaccination

Perry Farrell has teased that the Lollapalooza festival could return “soon” after the festival founder and Jane’s Addiction frontman revealed he received a COVID-19 vaccination.

“I hold in my hands my license to party! It’s my COVID-19 vaccination receipt,” Farrell said in a video on social media, dressed in blue jeans, a matching denim vest and white sleeveless shirt. “I will see you at Lollapalooza – soon!”

Lollapalooza, like most of the other annual festivals, was postponed in 2020 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Farrell had originally launched Lollapalooza as a farewell tour for Jane’s Addiction in 1991.

Earlier this month, Farrell had teased his fans about a “an intimate gig” happening around August-September.

“How are we doing today? Closer and closer to playing live. We’re getting traction from the vaccines. The inside scoop is August September may actually have plans for an intimate gig somewhere. I still haven’t gotten mine- hence the pesky test swab. But I am anxious to get it. RU?” he had tweeted at the time.
