Ruth Langsford was close to suffering a wardrobe malfunction while dancing on Loose Women on 25 November.

The 60 year old, who recently denied making a harsh dig at Alison Hammond amid This Morning replacement reports, appeared on the popular ITV show to flaunt her dance skills to Strictly Come Dacing pro Anton Du Beke.

The pair reminisced over their time together competing on the BBC show back in 2017 as Ruth did the 1920's Charleston dance while holding a broom stick with 54 year old Anton's face plastered to the top.

While the TV presenter clearly knew the steps very well, she appeared to panic midway through as she grabbed her chest and complained about the support of her bra.

Regretting her choice, she said: "I did have a better support bra than this one on the day, I have to say."

To which Anton, whose fans recently begged for him to be a full-time judge on Strictly, replied: "Well, no, I say go with how you feel!" before giving her 10 marks for the dance.

Ruth and Anton's walk down memory lane comes after it was reported she and husband Eamonn Holmes have been left "angry" over rumours they are set to be axed from This Morning.

The TV husband, 60, and wife are said to be “not afraid to start a TV war” if they were to be replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.

The TV insider told Heat magazine: “They are now planning their own TV talk show to rival This Morning, hopefully on the BBC or Channel 4.

“They’ve had lots of offers from TV companies who are keen to snap them up, and neither of them are afraid to start a TV war, just like Richard and Judy did when they went to Channel 4. Still, they’re really angry with how they have been treated.”

However, it’s understood the Eamonn and Ruth won’t leave the show easily, a source has claimed to new! magazine.

The source said: “Ruth and Eamonn are absolutely devastated. They’ve heard rumblings about this for a long time. Eamonn in particular thought this was going to happen, so it wasn’t a shock.

“There’s been no confirmation of the changes, so Ruth and Eamonn are both holding on to the hope they could win back their slot.

“They hope the public outcry will change the bosses’ minds to that they could do a Monday show or the Wednesday and then Alison and Dermot could do the Friday.”

Responding to the claims, a This Morning spokesperson said: “We have a stellar presenting line-up on This Morning in Holly and Phillip and Eamonn and Ruth. Any additions to this line up will be announced in due course.”
