Britain's Got Talent favourite Simon Cowell has opened up on how he often thinks about if his son Eric auditioned on the show he judges alongside David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.
The BGT favourite, 62, revealed he would be "petrified" if his eight-year-old son auditioned on the programme – especially as he'd fear that his act could go wrong.
Judges Alesha, 43, David, 50, Amanda, 51, and Simon were asked about the new series – which airs on Saturday 16th April on ITV – after a two-year break in a Q&A.
"Do you think that over those 10 years anybody's judging styles, including your own, has changed?" they were asked.
Comedian David joked: "I think Simon has tried to copy me because he realised that I was very popular being the nice one. And being the funny one. So now he is constantly trying to be nice all the time."
"He’s just bitter because you're funnier than David now," Amanda said, before Simon responded: "Possibly. I don't do a whole campaign when I'm nominated for one of these judges, which I've actually seen him do. He never stops. He's telling all of his followers to vote for them. I mean, that's desperate."
Heart FM presenter Amanda – who was recently inundated with comments from her fans speaking about how "beautiful" her daughters are – went on to joke: "You’re forgetting about the pile of books that he's got under the desk that he keeps out the people whether they want them or not. They’re signed, they're there. They're ready."
David then answered for the second time, as he spoke out about how all of the judges being parents has impacted their judging styles.
He said: "I think that having kids definitely changes you. I think Amanda was the only person who was a parent before [we started].
"Now we've all got children, I think that obviously makes us probably a bit more sensitive, doesn't it? Especially when kids come on and perform, you know, we are absolutely rooting for them thinking that could be our child out there."
Simon – who is father to Eric with fiancée Lauren Silverman – agreed as he added: "[It makes you think] Oh my God? What is that was Eric? I would be like, 'Wow'. I mean, I would be petrified."
Later on in the Q&A, dad of one Simon spoke about one audition that saw one young boy fall off his scooter.

"Just to be clear on that, I mean, that sort of stuff does not happen very often. I don’t think we've had a kid actually hurt themselves on stage," he said.
"But the truth is, when kids have bikes, scooters, skateboards, say with Eric, I mean, when he goes to skateboarding lessons, unfortunately, you do fall over, and I've fallen off many things as well! Even more!"
Simon further teased the new series as he gave some more detail about what viewers can expect from one audition.
"We didn’t show it, but we actually had a dog fall off the stage this year. You try and make sure that it's safe and they have a lot of time to prepare," he added.
"It did happen but in this particular case, hats off to him. He was only a little boy but he just wanted to finish the act.
"If he really hurt himself, we never would have carried on with that."
