Katya Jones, 32, has apologised to Olympian Adam Peaty, 26, after he suffered a nose bleed during a very tough evening of Strictly Come Dancing training. The dancing duo are using all their energy to prepare for Saturday’s live show.

I am bleeding because I am working too hard.

Adam posted the update on his Instagram Story this evening, to his 551,000 followers.

The Olympian could be seen dripping with sweat in a selfie video, exhausted from the gruelling training sessions in a last minute bid to perfect their routine.

He said to the camera: “So, we’ve just done a full routine.

“My heart rate gets to about 180 or something.”

Struggling to catch his breath, Adam added: “I just don’t know anymore.”

The swimmer then zoomed in on his nose, where a trickle of blood could be seen coming out of his right nostril.

Katya can then be heard in the background, sheepishly issuing an apology while grimacing due to her partner’s nose bleed.

To which Adam replied: “I am bleeding because I am working too hard.

“That is commitment.”

Prior to this, Adam posted another video detailing his rigorous regime with Katya.

He said: “Can someone help me please.

“Anyone, anyone?”

Katya then appeared in the background, full of energy and ready to work.

She said: “It’s always going to be like that.

“You’ve got to push, push, push!”

While trying to put Adam in the winning frame of mind, she can be seen jabbing him in the shoulder.

Adam teased: “I’m going to call my union in a minute, I think.”

Katya quickly shut him down and replied: “Never too much! More is more!”

The Olympian has three gold medals under his belt and Katya is pushing to add a glitterball to his collection.

Katya won Strictly in 2017 with Joe McFadden, and seems to be trying hard to win Strictly Come Dancing 2021 too.
