Ulrika Jonsson, 53 has revealed she is looking forward to being able to go out when lockdown ends and have sex “with a handful of strangers” if she wants to. The TV star divorced her third husband Brian Money back in 2019 and is missing being able to socialise outdoors, as the UK remains in its third national lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
I want to go to a pub and kiss a stranger
Speaking out on what she is most looking forward to once restrictions hopefully begin to ease in April, she admitted: “Like kissing a stranger, I’m not suggesting it happens weekly but it’s a rite of passage and a profound life-affirming act of sheer abandon.
“All these little signs of normal life I refuse to let go of. I want to go to a pub and kiss a stranger. I want to go to a restaurant and get completely blathered and then have sex with two handfuls of strangers.
“Obviously some parts of that statement are not correct and I’m not suggesting it’s a good idea, but you get the gist.
“It’s almost as if these mandatory lockdowns are propelling us into wild and crazy, exaggerated thoughts about what we hope will be our new normal,” she added in an interview with the Daily Star.
The former flame of football manager Sven Goran Eriksson also shared that being cooped up indoors has made her want to “push the boundaries”.
She continued: “We are so desperate to push the boundaries, stretch the rules, expand the confines of our minds and actions to take us to somewhere wonderful where we can reclaim some bizarre normality.”
The mother of four also admitted she couldn’t imagine wearing a mask while getting intimate, despite that being recommended by medical experts.
She wrote in Best Magazine: “For me, it has been the lack of human physical contact that’s been hardest to endure.
“It’s the physical things I wonder about. I recall reading some guide to having safe sex in the time of Corona, which involved intimacy in positions where faces wouldn’t meet and wearing a mask.
“I can’t even walk around the supermarket in a mask without being out of breath, so quite how I would be getting jiggy wearing a mask?”
Ulrika was originally born in Sweden before moving to Britain where she landed her first onscreen role as a weather presenter on TV-am, now known as Good Morning Britain.
She then went on to present ITV show Gladiators and has modelled lingerie for Playtex.
