Robert Pattinson proved he is fully embracing his new role as Batman as he went super low-key for a lockdown coffee run this week.
The 34-year-old actor was spotted out in London to get his caffeine fix wearing a cap and dressed all in black, looking almost as though he was inspired by his alter-ego in the upcoming movie directed by Matt Reeves.
Going under the radar for his daytime trip, R-Patz – whose other new film Tenet will be out in July – looked like he was on a mission as he pounded the pavements in his shorts, hoodie, cap and sandals combo.
Given the lockdown rules, Robert was perhaps heading straight back home to where he is living with girlfriend Suki Waterhouse.
But who knows, maybe he shot off to pursue some villains after his visit to the food and wine store?
Following in the footsteps of George Clooney and Ben Affleck, Pattinson has some big boots to fill in his new role as the superhero.
That being said, it seems he’s ready for the challenge.
In fact, he recently admitted he’s feeling pretty ‘spicy’ about it all as he’s hoping to put his own spin on the well-known character.
We’re certainly very intrigued about the possibility of a ‘spicy’ Batman.
The Batman will also star Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
An official release date is yet to be confirmed.
So for now we just have Rob’s stealthy coffee runs to remind us that he’ll soon be on the big screen as Gotham’s superhero.
We just hope he’s continued with the weird and wonderful lockdown habits he shared with the world in GQ recently.
He’s secretly all of us in quarantine.
