Alex Rodriguez is doing everything he can to not let his romance with Jennifer Lopez die out.
The former MLB star, 45, has now jetted back to the Dominican Republic where J-Lo, 51, is currently on holiday in a desperate bid to spend more time with her.
The pair recently told fans they are "working through things" after it was reported that they split as a result of A-Rod being unfaithful – something he has not commented on.
The couple – who got engaged in 2019 – were plagued by rumours they had suddenly cancelled their engagement and ended their relationship earlier this month.
The pair then went on a make-or-break holiday in the Dominican Republic for crisis talks and quality time, before the baseball star had to jet home for work.
It's now reported that he's back by the picturesque beaches with Jennifer.
"He flew back to the Dominican Republic this weekend so he can spend a few more days with Jennifer," a source told People magazine.
Daily Star has contacted Jennifer and Alex's reps for comment.

The pair have been posting snaps of themselves on the tropical island on Instagram, with A-Rod enjoying a spot of golf on the island.
Jennifer and Alex have denied rumours of a split, confirming they are still together but "working through" problems in their relationship.
The couple told TMZ: "All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things."

The pair started dating four years ago, with Jennifer, and her children eventually moving into his Miami mansion as they took their romance to the next level.
Major League Baseball legend Alex popped the question two years ago while strolling along the beach at sunset, stealing a moment to get down on bended knee.
While the lovebirds planned on getting married in 2020, their plans were put on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak, cancelling the wedding a whopping three times.
