Ashley Cain's baby daughter Azaylia stopped breathing and her body went stiff in her latest seizure, the dad updated fans.
He said the seizure led to the infant needing oxygen and the on-call nurses being dispatched to check on her. Luckily, she pulled through after a 'long time' and is keeping strong.
Eight-month-old Azaylia was diagnosed with acute myloid leukeamia, and her parents were told there was nothing else doctors could do after more tumours were found on her brain.
Her seizure on Friday was the second the baby girl had over the past three days after she suffered one following a visit to the hospital on Wednesday night.
Ashley had taken little Azaylia on an adventure earlier on Friday where they ventured for a walk in the warm sunshine up and down the street.
He called the outing 'special' and wanted to 'make the most of the sun'.
Sadly, Azaylia had a seizure not long after where she stopped breathing and her body went stiff and the parents called for the nurses to return to help check her vitals.
Ashley Cain told 'make the most of this weekend' as Azaylia's body is 'shutting down'
The star wrote on Instagram: "Shortly after these photos were taken Azaylia had a seizure. Her eyes rolled back, she stopped breathing and her body went as stiff as a board.
"We put her on oxygen straight away and called for the on-call nurses. After a few hours of close observation, we managed to settle her. This has happened a few times now, but it never gets any easier.
"Yet she continues to battle through!"
He then called the little one his inspiration, champion, and hero and said he "can't imagine life" without her.
Mum Safiyya also took to her social media to give an update to fans who have been sending messages of positivity and support throughout Azaylia's battle.
She said: "She had to be put on oxygen straight away and the nurses were called and after a long time her observations came back up and she stabilised."
