Bad Girls Club star Whitney Collings dies aged 33 as mum says she’s ‘broken’

Bad Girls Club star Whitney Collings has died at the age of 33.

A cause of death has not been yet been released, however TMZ reports Whitney died at a hospital near her home city of Boston on Thursday morning.

A medical examiner is currently reviewing the case to determine the cause and manner of her death, according to the publication.

Whitney's death was announced by her heartbroken mother in a Facebook post.

She wrote: "I am completely broken and will never get over this. Life is so unfair. She was kind with a big heart."

Whitney, who was one of the early stars of Bad Girls Club, starred in 12 episodes of the reality show in 2008, when she was aged just 21.

The Oxygen series, which ran from 2006 to 2017, followed a group of women who considered themselves 'bad girls' living under the same roof.

Proud Bostonian Whitney was known for her sense of humour on the show and was nicknamed 'the Straight Shooter'.

However she was eventually kicked out of the house after a physical altercation with roommate Amber Meade.

Recently, it appears Whitney moved to Florida and was working for a vaping company.

Several of Collings' friends haven spoken out on social media following the tragic news.

Season 2 Bad Girls Club star Darlen Escobar wrote on her Instagram Story, "God has gained another beautiful sweet angel," alongside a photo of Collings.

"I am completely heart broken Whitney Collings we have so many fun memories together.. Rest easy beautiful angel your with your dad now," another friend added in a Facebook post.
