Dani Dyer clears up rumours that she dated Sammy Kimmence before Love Island

Dani Dyer, 23, has shut down rumours she had previously dated boyfriend Sammy Kimmence prior to her stint on Love Island.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Star Online, the TV star opened up about her blossoming romance with her beau, and admitted things are going "really well".

When asked how their relationship kicked off, she said: "I just bumped into him and it was a really weird time. And yeah, It was mad. I can't explain it.

However, former Love Island cast member Dani was quick to point out this was the first time Sammy and herself had made things official.

"There was this whole thing that I was with him before – but I wasn't with him before," she explained.

"I knew of him and maybe had a little fling but he was never my boyfriend. So this is the first time he's my boyfriend."

She added: "Yeah, it's going really well. "

And it seems her Dani has put pen to paper about her love life, admitting: "I can't say too say much because I have an extra chapter of my book coming out."

While her relationship has gone from strength to strength, so has her career.

Since leaving the villa last year, the brunette beauty has worked on a number of projects including her In The Style range along with starring in Nativity at the Palladium last year.

Undoubtedly her biggest presenting job to date, Dani is fronting the latest series of MTV's True Love or True Lives.

The deceptive dating game show, narrated by dad Danny Dyer, aims to cover which couples are fake, and which are genuine.

Discussing her new role, she said: "It’s such a good show – so different and so fun.

"Every night I didn’t know what was going to happen. Whatever the contestants heard that was the first I heard of it. There was moments of arguing and bickering and then there were really heartfelt and emotional moment.

"You really do ride the emotional rollercoaster," she continued.

Speaking about working with her dad, she said they get on "really well".
