Fans Laugh Off French Montana’s Angry Reaction to ‘Squid Game’ Meme Trolling His Music

When reacting to the meme, which jokes about his reliance on features, the Moroccan-American emcee names his 14 songs without collaboration from other artists.

AceShowbizFrench Montana recently became the butt of a joke on the Internet. After he tried to fire back at the “Squid Game” meme trolling his music, the “Boom Boom” rapper found himself being ridiculed even further by online users.

The meme in question joked about how the 36-year-old emcee doesn’t have any hit songs. It challenged participants to name five tracks by the Moroccan native that do not include collaboration from other artists.

“For the next game, you need to name FIVE French Montana songs without features,” read the tweet, which garnered a number of hilarious responses. One Twitter user in particular quipped, “tell my family I love them.” Another jested, “Lemme pray before I die.”

Having caught wind of the meme, French was quick to offer his clapback. He named his 14 songs, including “Ain’t Worried About Nothin”, “Don’t Panic”, “Famous”, “Shot Caller”, “What It Look Like” and more. He then argued, “Now eat a d**k [angry devil face] I’m droping a solo track this week.”

French’s angry response, however, generated more jokes. “All you proved is that French Montana is the only person who name 5 solo French Montana song,” one person tweeted, before another echoed similar sentiment, “not a soul on this earth outside of yourself knows any of these songs.” A third, meanwhile, sarcastically wrote, “This is actually incredible. I havent seen many artists where i genuinely dont recognize a single song.”

This was not the first time French tried to defend himself against online trolls. In April 2020, the “Welcome to the Party” spitter lashed out at those comparing him to Kendrick Lamar. “Most of kendricks features Too!” he commented in response to those saying that all his hits have features. “I never compared myself I just stood up for myself. we all know kendrick one of the goats.”
