Liam Gallagher ‘wants to go for a beer’ with brother Noel and end Oasis feud

Liam Gallagher has said he wants to "go for a beer" and work things out with his brother Noel.

The former Oasis stars have been at loggerheads in a heated war of words since their split in 2009, which started after a backstage scrap at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

Speaking to Associated Press, Liam said he wanted to reconcile for the sake of their mother, Peggy.

Liam being his usual witty self joked that Noel would have to "get on his knees and beg for mercy" before he considered playing alongside him once again.

Speaking about whether he wanted to patch things up, the Burnage lad said: "Yeah, I wish so,

"Only for the brother side of it. Not a bit about Oasis. The most important thing is about me and him being brothers. I've got another brother who he doesn't speak to. It would be nice if all three of us would be together.

Speaking about his mum, Peggy, and the brothers desire for them to be amicable before her death, he said: "Obviously, our mum is still alive, so she gets upset about it.

The dad-of-four claims that he didn’t join Oasis to make any money, instead, joining to "have fun and see the world" slamming claims by his older brother that he’s desperate to regroup for money.

During the One Love Manchester concert, in aid of the Manchester Arena bombing – fans speculated that the band would be reuniting for a special performance after Taboo Nawasha of the Black Eyed Peas tagged Oasis in an official line up.

Despite their grievances, Liam claims that Noel would have to "come to my house, get on his knees and beg for mercy and say 'Sorry'".

He jokingly added: "maybe bring me a cake with a little candle on it. I'm only joking. Just for me and him to go for a beer.

The 47-year-old continued: "Shoot some s*** and get off whatever's on his chest off because I don't think we should have split up over a big argument. I mean, I didn't kick his cat.

"I didn't try hugging up with his Mrs or anything like that."
