Mel B dished out spectacular advice after a couple got engaged during a Spice Girls show, joking how they should ‘sign a prenub’.
As the band’s reunion tour hit Manchester on Friday, Lee Christie proposed to his partner Duane Watters live on-stage after they were invited up by the Spice Girls.
After saying yes to enormous cheers from the audience, Mel B, who went through a bitter divorce with ex husband Stephen Belafonte, joked: ‘Make sure you sign a pre-nup, just a bit of advice.’
Mel B later stated how they’ll have the first ‘Spice Girls wedding’, inviting everyone in the crowd to come join their celebrations.
Early shows of the Spice Girls reunion tour were criticised by some fans over sound issues, which the band joked about at a prior gig earlier this week.
As they kicked off the show, the girls asked: ‘Can you hear alright at the back?’
Mel B previously addressed the sound issue complaints in a video following their first gig, saying: ‘Hey guys thank you for attending our show tonight in Dublin.
‘We will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the vocals and the sound will be much, much better.’
The tour is set to continue with shows in Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, and Bristol, before three nights at London’s Wembley Stadium.
The show itself packs all their biggest hits, including 2 Become 1, Wannabe, Say You’ll Be There and Stop.
Mel B and ex Stephen Belafonte finalised their divorce in August last year, with the pair sharing custody of their six-year-old daughter Madison.
