Rosemarie Vega became an unexpected heroine and fan-favorite after she appeared on TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4. The 25-year-old single mom, who lives in her home country of the Philippines with her young son Prince, had a notoriously tumultuous relationship with her American boyfriend, Big Ed Brown.
Big Ed’s harsh treatment of Rose, and his negative comments about aspects of her appearance and background, led many 90 Day Fiancé fans to rush to her defense. When Rose broke things off with Big Ed due to his frequent putdowns, 90 Day Fiancé fans collectively cheered her on.
Since then, Rose has taken to social media to share empowering messages about building her self-confidence and improving her self-esteem. Most recently, she partnered with a beauty brand on YouTube to share a message about the importance of self-care – and fans couldn’t get enough of her physical and emotional transformation.

In a new YouTube video, Rose revealed that she was partnering with Bianca Festejo Hub. She described the brand as a “one-stop-shop for all your beauty and pamper needs,” including products for “skin, nails, lashes, permanent makeup, and scar and stretch mark revision.”
Looking back at her own history, Rose explained that she had often neglected herself, especially after becoming a mom. When the 25-year-old was dating Big Ed, her self-esteem and confidence often suffered – but the problem actually started long before Rose appeared on 90 Day Fiancé.
“Since I gave birth to Prince, I’ve just been focusing on my son,” Rose said in the video. “I’ve been taking myself for granted.”
She explained that she spent hours caring for her aging father, in addition to helping her sister run her business and helping to care for her nieces and nephews. Her many caregiving duties, as well as time-consuming household chores, like cooking, cleaning, and laundry, left the young mom exhausted and burned out.
At some point, Rose looked in the mirror and realized that she didn’t recognize herself anymore. The stress had taken its toll, and she didn’t like what she saw.
“I came to the point where I saw myself in the mirror, and I realized that I look very different,” the 90 Day Fiancé star said. “I’m so skinny. I look haggard. My hair is a mess.”
Now, she realized, it was “time to take care of herself and enhance her aura.”

Business owner Bianca Festejo revealed that she chose Rose to endorse her company because she was an example of “true Filipino beauty.” Rose was naturally beautiful, but also “charming, energetic, and fierce inside,” Festejo gushed.
It was partly Rose’s confidence and sense of self-worth – which she displayed in part by standing up to Big Ed when he treated her poorly – that led Festejo to reach out to her for a brand partnership.
“She knows exactly what she wants, and she won’t let anybody dictate to her otherwise,” Festejo said of the budding social media influencer, who recently bought her own home for the first time.
With the help of Festejo’s pampering team and photographer Roj Miguel, Rose said it was now time to “unleash Rosemarie Vega 2.0.”
Her makeover included a hydrating facial, face-framing highlights, and a straightening and shine-enhancing treatment for damaged parts of Rose’s hair. The 90 Day Fiancé star also underwent treatments to decrease the discoloration from her stretch marks after childbirth.
Big Ed’s ex was glowing in the photo shoot that followed. She seemed truly happy with her new look, gushing, “I’m so happy that I was able to give time to myself. It feels so good to be pampered.” The young mom said it was wonderful to let others take care of her for once.

90 Day Fiancé fans’ responses to Rose’s makeover and latest business venture were overwhelmingly positive. Many viewers gushed about the 90 Day Fiancé star’s new look. Others praised her for building on her platform after appearing on TLC and turning a negative (her relationship with Big Ed) into a financial positive for herself and her son.
“Secure the bag sis,” one supporter encouraged her.
Another fan wrote kindly, “You’re the only person on 90 Day Fiancé that just radiates wholesomeness and deserves all the respect.”
“She is so mature for her age!” one 90 Day Fiancé viewer commented. “Her heart is truly made of gold.”
Other fans thought Big Ed must have more than a few regrets about losing his relationship with Rose.
“Ed is somewhere kicking himself,” one viewer exclaimed.
“Ed should see Rose now and say, ‘I can’t believe that I was lucky to even be in her presence,’” another fan agreed.
Rose might have lost a romantic relationship on 90 Day Fiancé, but she clearly gained plenty of supporters – and new business opportunities – in the process.
