Abbey Clancy reveals ‘nightmare’ moment Peter Crouch lost their baby at a farm – and she ‘battered’ him afterwards

ABBEY Clancy revealed she "punched and battered" husband Peter Crouch after he lost their baby at a farm.

The model, 35, opened up about the nightmare moment on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe's Lockdown Parenting Hell podcast.

With three children aged five and under – Liberty, five, Jonny, three, and Jack, one – as well as Sophia, 10, it's a tough task keeping them all in sight on family days out.

Explaining the moment she flew into a rage at a farm, she explained: “I went to the toilet. I was gone for one second. And I came back he was just sitting there. I said: 'where’s the baby?'

"We couldn’t find the baby anywhere. I was hysterical. He had escaped out of the indoor play area and was a mile down the road with lambs and a lake and everything. It was so scary. I battered Pete in front of every one at the farm."

And if the beating wasn't bad enough, Peter, 40, got soaked with coffee too.

Strictly champ Abbey continued: "I threw a cup of coffee on him. I threw the coffee and I punched him. I don’t condone violence at all but it was out of panic. I was terrified. It was a nightmare I am just so worried about anything happening to them and he is far too laid back, so laid back it is a joke.

"And he forgot the baby bag. That’s his favourite thing to do. We drove to another country farm. I should have married a farmer! It was two hours away – with a new born baby and a 12 month old, and he forgot the baby bag, so no milk, no nappies. I wanted to kill him."

Abbey found fame in 2006 when she appeared on Britain’s Next Top Model. She met retired footballer Peter at a friend’s party and the pair soon started dating.

By July 2009 the pair were engaged and they wed two years later.
