Christine Lampard welcomed Russell Myers onto Lorraine on Monday morning to discuss recent health updates about the Queen. The royal expert detailed a break the Queen is taking following advice from doctors. However, the conversation quickly turned to Prince Harry and whether or not he might return to the UK for Christmas.
After chatting about the Queen’s health, Christine commented: “Christmas is around the corner and that’s a very busy time for her again.
“Do we think Harry might pop back just to check in on his grandmother?” she asked.
Russell replied: “Well, maybe. That’s a good point actually.”
He commented Harry and Meghan would likely not have considered returning to the UK for Christmas if the Queen hadn’t had a stay in hospital.
Russell explained: “I don’t think we would have seen them. They’ve just moved to California, it’s going to be their first Christmas over there.
“However, this does slightly change things and will Harry want to get on a plane?
“Obviously, there was no Sandringham Christmas last year, the Queen was alone at Windsor Castle with Phillip.
“So, you know, anything can happen and I think they might just change their mind on this occasion,” he added.
