The BBC Breakfast team have been undergoing various changes this week and Sunday morning was no exception.

Regular presenters Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty were both missing from the red sofa on Sunday and were replaced by journalists Chris Mason and Luxmy Gopal.

During the weekends, Charlie and Naga usually take the reigns, while Dan Walker and Louise Minchin present the morning programme throughout the week.

The noticeable changes that have been taking place this week have left some viewers somewhat confused too.

But on Sunday, some viewers felt the new presenters were a breath of fresh air.

Taking to Twitter, viewers aired their opinions on Chris and Luxmy.

One viewer questioned: "Just seen the very professional and very beautiful @luxmy_g on BBC breakfast. Why is the lovely lady not a regular presenter on the programme?"

Another said: "What a breath of fresh air, @ChrisMasonBBC @luxmy_g. Enjoying the programme. Thank you."
