'Big Brother' Star Janelle Pierzina Calls Season 23 a 'Little Snooze' so Far, Ready for a Shake-Up

Big Brother fan-favorite Janelle Pierzina believes season 23 has become a “little snooze” so far, comparing it to the predictable BB22: All-Stars.

‘Big Brother’ star Janelle Pierzina recently competed in a predictable season

Three-time competitor and fan-favorite returned for a fourth season and second All-Stars last year. Competing alongside longtime ally Kaysar Ridha, the others instantly considered them the biggest threats in the house.

BB10 runner-up Memphis Garrett created the dominant Committee alliance during Week 1, including the first Head of Household, Cody Calafiore.

Ridha correctly sniffed out that the HOH targeted him and saved himself and Pierzina by winning safety. However, The Committee remained in power nearly every week, picking them and several fan-favorites off before the jury phase.

Because the allies controlled the house the entire season, making every eviction predictable, many fans considered it a letdown, referring to BB22 as one of the most boring in the franchise’s history.

‘Big Brother 23’ starting off in a similar fashion

The first week of BB23 became one of the most chaotic as HOH Brandon “Frenchie” French promised safety to almost everyone and aligned himself with most of the house.

Additionally, he claimed he wouldn’t go after a minority or a woman and planned to evict a “meathead” first. After bonding with Brent Champagne and Christian Birkenberger saved himself in the Wildcard Competition, Frenchie went back on his word and targeted Alyssa Lopez, believing she and Christian were “showmancing it up.”

He also nominated her next to pawn Kyland Young, a Black player. Following his puzzling nominations, Frenchie decided to backdoor Travis Long, a “meathead” he previously promised safety. The rollercoaster reign has gone down as the most entertaining week so far as it has turned into a similar predictable season, similar to BB22.

Kyland won the following HOH and targeted Frenchie, who everyone wanted to go. This week, the house turned against Brent, and Xavier Prather has taken the shot. Even though the evictions haven’t been unanimous and there are several big and small alliances, most of the house has primarily agreed on who they want to be voted out next.

Pierzina calls it a ‘little snooze’; wants a female HOH

The four-time competitor has kept up with the show and frequently tweets her opinions. While she’s a fan of Tiffany Mitchell and the Cookout alliance (Derek Frazier, Azah Awasum, Hannah Chaddha, Xavier, Kyland, and Tiffany), the BB star admitted she’s getting bored.

“I’m hoping for a power flip next week; this season is a little snooze fest for me this far,” she tweeted following the July 25th episode. Pierzina also stated she’s rooting for a female HOH, noting she’s “manifesting” a Hannah or Tiffany win in another tweet.

Additionally, she agreed with a fan who claimed they stopped watching the Live Feeds, writing she wants “trash talk and drama.” Another user pointed out the first three evicted are males, and Pierzina claimed she’s “over it” and ready to see them target “other threats.”

Someone else called All-Stars 2 “the most boring season ever,” and the BB star agreed while still noting, “this isn’t much better.” Will someone on the bottom of the totem pole, such as Azah, Britni, or Whitney, win the next HOH and shake up the house? Big Brother 23 airs Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on CBS.
