Chris Moyles confesses one I’m A Celeb moment was ‘so bad’ it was cut from show

Chris Moyles has shared the truth behind one secret challenge in the jungle that was cut from the show.

The 48 year old radio presenter and former Radio 1 legend couldn't wait to spill behind the scenes secrets from the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp upon his return to work in the UK.

Once firmly back in the chair at Radio X, Chris explained there was a trial that went so badly on the programme producers decided to cut it from the programmer entirely.

It turns out, the DJ took part in a Dingo Dollar challenge with A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas, but the pair's efforts were so poor it didn't even make for good TV.

Explaining the truth to listeners, Chris revealed that bosses decided it needed to be axed.

"We were so bad at winning the treats in the Dingo Dollar Deals on Wheels challenges," he said.

"Scarlette and I did a challenge and they didn't even show it – that's how bad we were," the star added bluntly.

Chris's skills in the jungle were limited, as he regularly struggled with the Bushtucker Trials.

In one solo trial, the radio host panicked over the small spaces and holding his breath under water.

At one point, the campmate struggled so much he managed to drop all the stars he'd collected in his bag.

In a moment now immortalised online forever, as Declan Donnelly's stunned expression made it into a classic meme, Chris was forced to reveal his blunder.

While the star managed to collect one more star before the klaxon sounded, he returned to camp with the disappointing news he'd only managed to get one meal for the group that night.

Chris also returned to camp with just one star following another trial disaster.

Despite his difficulties with the trials, Chris and the rest of the group formed a close bond during their time in the camp.

the group even decided that rather than go to the official wrap party for I'm A Celeb, they would organise a private meal with all their friends and families after Jill Scott was crowned queen of the jungle.

"Yeah, we didn’t go [to the wrap party]. I'll tell you why we didn't go. It's about a 45/50 minute drive from the hotel," he explained on air. "It happens on Monday night and bearing in mind with the time difference, the final is Monday morning, right.

"Those three finalists, they get worked really hard all day, and so we were absolutely going to go but Mike then organised two massive tables at the restaurant.

"So what was lovely was every single campmate and their other half or friends and family went to this dinner.

"So it was me and Tiff, it was Matt Hancock and his missus, it was Seann Walsh and his girlfriend Grace.

"It was everybody, so every campmate, and their friends and family went and just us, we just had dinner on our own," the star added.
