Sarah Platt (played by Tina O’Brien) has been trying to win back Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) ever since they split. But it seems the solicitor is moving on; which understandably, Sarah is not happy about. And she will be even more unpleased when she finds out who Adam could have a potential romance with.
Sarah realised the mistake she made in not supporting her husband against Gary Windass (Mikey North).
So much so, she let him leave their marriage but now wants him back.
Coronation Street viewers saw her tell him how much she loved him, and how she has seen the error of her ways.
But, Adam is no longer interested, instead, he is pursuing Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu).
Next week, ITV viewers will see Adam attempt to flirt with Alina in the cafe, but she gives him short shrift back.
Understandably, it’s difficult for the newcomer, as her boss is Adam’s ex, Sarah.
In a bid to lift the Underworld teams’ spirits, Sarah invites them all to Speed Daal and Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment) produces a quiz that he’s written, and instructs the factory gang to get into teams.
Sarah however, is less than impressed when Adam tries to use this as an opportunity to chat up Alina.
Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) on the other hand is knocking back the wine as his dislike for Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) grows by the second.
When the team-building event is over, Adam approaches Alina and asks if she would like to go out sometime.
She doesn’t give him a straight answer, but instead, says she will think about.
When Peter Barlow (Peter Gascoigne) and Carla Connor (Alison King) return from their sailing holiday, the factory girls are gossiping about Adam’s intentions towards Alina.

To make matters worse for Sarah, she ends up catching Adam chatting up Alina outside the factory, and viewers will see her launch a tirade of abuse at him.
Carla, on the other hand, is showing a new client around the factory and stumbles upon Sarah screaming at Adam.
Later on in the day, Carla takes Alina to one side and warns her to steer clear of Adam.
The temporary factory boss suggests Adam is using her just to get at Sarah.
Alina is left utterly confused, especially when Adam suggests dinner, will she accept the invite?
Will Sarah have to finally let Adam go and let him live his life?
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
