Coronation Street's Emma Brooker finally confronted Curtis Delamere over his lies on Wednesday's episode.
Soap watchers have been gripped since discovering Curtis had been lying to Emma for the past few months about his "life-threatening" heart condition.
Earlier this week, Emma became suspicious after she discovered that Curtis' "life-saving" pills were in fact vitamins after Ruby Dobbs accidentally swallowed one.
And despite attempting to cover his tracks over the blunder, Emma met up with Curtis' father Neville, who he had pretended was his stepdad and that his biological dad was dead, as well as his doctor to get the truth.
During the meet up, Neville revealed that he was actually Curtis' alive father and that he had been led to believe they had split, he warned: "I'd get out while you can!"
Emma then insisted that he was "scaring" her as they sat down for a further chat as she asked him questions as things "don't add up" in Curtis' life.
And at the end of the episode, Emma confronted and finally exposed Curtis' lies as she declared: "Please, stop… you're not dying!"
As Curtis begged her to stay and understand, she added: "I know there's nothing wrong with you!"
Viewers were quick to react to the scenes as they demanded Emma kick Curtis out and feared that he could try to worm his way out of the lies.
One person said: "Curtis' lies are starting to catch up with him. I hope he confesses properly tomorrow night. Emma deserves to know the truth and doesn't deserve to be messed about like the way she has been #Corrie."
A different account put: "Surely now that Emma knows that Curtis lied about his dad being dead she will kick him out !!!! #Corrie."
Another follower commented: "Stop it with your lies Curtis. Emma knows your lying. She knows that your dad isn't dead. #Corrie."
While a different soap watcher added: "Poor Emma, she really doesn't deserve any of this #Corrie."
