Cruella on Disney Plus: Release date, cast, plot and trailer

CRUELLA is now finally available on Disney+ after the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the original release of December 23, 2020.

Emma Stone leads the cast in the live-action movie focused on the classic Disney character.

When is Cruella on Disney+?

Cruella is now available to stream on Disney+.

However, Cruella is only available to those who have premium access on the streaming platform.

The crime comedy-drama film premiered in Los Angeles on May 18, 2021.

The event was the first major red carpet event since the COVID-19 pandemic began to take hold in the US.

Who is in the cast of Cruella?

Emma Stone leads the cast as Estella “Cruella” de Vil and Emma Thompson plays villain Baroness von Hellman.

They are joined by Joel Fry who portrays petty thief and long-time friend of Estella, Jasper Badun.

Jasper's brother Horace Badun is played by Paul Walter and Estella’s mother, Catherine is portrayed by Emily Beecham.

Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Mark Strong and John McCrea also feature in the Craig Gillespie-directed film.

What is Cruella about?

Cruella is a live-action feature film following the evil exploits of Cruella de Vil, the villain from the iconic Disney film, "101 Dalmatians".

Estella is the orphaned girl who morphs into Cruella thanks to some of life's hard knocks.

She is an ambitious drifter and aspiring fashion designer, who will go on to become a notorious and dangerous criminal obsessed with Dalmatian furs.

However, she has a tough obstacle to overcome in the form of Baroness von Hellman: The head of a prestigious London fashion house and a renowned designer.

She is also Estella's boss, biological mother, and eventual rival who eventually plays a pivotal role in Estella's transformation.
