IT'S finally here, the hotly-anticipated and oh-so-iconic Blackpool week has arrived!
But what will the stars be dancing to on the legendary dancefloor? Here's what you can expect from THIS WEEKEND…
What are the Strictly songs and dances for Blackpool?
The contestants and viewers alike have been eagerly waiting for the stars to descend to the famous Blackpool dancefloor with all it's splendour and spectacle.
And this weekend that's exactly what's going to happen. Here's a list of the songs and dances that will be performed by each pairing:
Emma Barton and Anton Du Beke
The pair will grace the iconic Blackpool Ballroom with an equally classic song as a backdrop to their American Smooth.
They will be hoping to wow the judges with a routine to Ella Fitzgerald's, Lets Face The Music And Dance.
Alex Scott and Neil Jones
The couple are finally reunited and will be adding sass and fearless attitude in the ballroom.
Their choreography will see them dance to Beyonce's track Run The World (Girls).
Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice
A tough week saw RU Paul Drag Race star Michelle in the bottom two last night, with some fans speculating the lowly score was linked to her attitude to popstar Cheryl on her own show.
Michelle and Italian Giovanni will perform their first couple's choice routine to Madonna's Vogue.
Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard
Their seamless progression to the Tower Ballroom will see the all-smiling performers enjoy a lively Quickstep.
They will show off their fancy footwork accompanied by Beverley Knight track, Marvellous Party.
Chris Ramsey and Karen Hauer
A sexy salsa is on the schedule for Chris and Karen, who are bringing a bit of Uptown Funk to the classic venue.
They will be hoping their routine to Mark Ronson's track secures them enough points on the board for safety.
Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden
The lively couple will tackle a Charleston track with all good vibes.
They will be performing to Happy, by C2C feat Derek Martin.
Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse
It's more upbeat moves courtesy of the bookies' favourites, who will peform a Jive.
There'll no doubt be plentiful hip swaying in their routine to Jailhouse Rock, from Smokey Joe's Cafe.
Where is the Tower Ballroom and can I visit it?
The ballroom is located inside the Blackpool Tower and really is an institution.
Standing proudly on the Blackpool seafront, the tower is an imposing 158 m tall and welcomes over 650,000 visitors per year – so yes you can visit it yourself!
The Tower was built in 1894 and the magical ballroom with its spectacular architecture and unique sprung floor is world-famous.
There is dancing on the celebrated floor every day and visitors can take a whirl themselves or watch others during one of the daily tea dances.
It forms the centrepiece to any series of Strictly Come Dancing and is the week that the celebrities strive for when they shimmy their first tentative steps on the show.
Why do the contestants get so excited about dancing there?
Before the celebrities even think about winning the competition, their sole aim is to get to Blackpool.
The trip is around mid-way through the competition and all the contestants covet the opportunity to perform in the iconic ballroom to show off what they've learned so far.
The venue is where the original Come Dancing series was filmed in the 1970s and the block wooden floor is famously springy underfoot (to reduce the impact on the dancers' joints).
The ballroom is far larger than the BBC Strictly studio at 11 sq m, and the celebrities feel a real excitement and honour to dance there.
For the professional dancers, it's a return to where many of them will have competed during their careers, with numerous national and international competitions being held there.
When is Strictly next on TV?
The next show airs THIS SATURDAY (November 16) on BBC One at 7.05pm.
The results show will air the next night, on November 17 at 7.15pm.
