Emmerdale fans rage over ambulance blunder as Sarah collapses – but did you spot it?

EMMERDALE fans were left raging over a huge ambulance blunder as Sarah Sugden collapsed last night.

Sarah – who is played by Katie Hill in the ITV soap – panicked as she became convinced she’s going to die like Leanna Cavanagh.

The youngster bumped into Leanna’s dad Liam at her grave and was horrified by his speech about the power of fate.

Sarah began breathing heavily and ran off home, where she clutched her chest and fell to the floor.

Belle Dingle alerted emergency services when she found Sarah struggling to breathe and tried her best to reassure her that she wasn’t dying.

However, when the ambulance finally arrived, fans were shocked to see Sarah having an ECG exam while perched on a stretcher in the middle of the street rather than inside the ambulance.

Just in the middle of the road?"

One shocked fan tweeted: “Not even in the ambulance just in the middle of the road do you know how stupid you look.”

Another added “Do they do it outside now? #Emmerdale”

A third disgruntled fan said: “Soaps are so unrealistic, you’d think Debbie would be by Sarah’s side in a shot! #emmerdale”

Viewers know that Sarah had a heart transplant back in 2018 after suffering from heart failure.

Following her collapse, Sarah decides to reach out to her donor family next week but is left heartbroken when they refuse to speak to her.

Speaking about the storyline, actress Katie recently told Inside Soap magazine: "I'm so pleased that Emmerdale is revisiting Sarah's dramatic past.

"Sarah has a very problematic medical history, and doctors have told her that she might have a shortened life.

"So with Leanna dying and Granny Faith's mystery illness all her fears are definitely heightened… she's consumed by utter fear.

"Sarah is determined to learn about (her donor family), and I can tell you that she's really determined.

"Sarah starts investigating things for herself, and she does find someone in the family who agrees to meet her."
