Emmerdale co-stars Max Parker and Kris Mochrie have taken the next step when it comes to their relationship and moved into a plush new pad in Manchester.
The soap actors, who play onscreen brothers Luke Posner (Parker) and Lee Posner (Mochrie), have been dating since July and decided to get a little more serious, Max and Kris have set up home together.
It’s reported the boys have moved into a swanky penthouse apartment, reportedly costing them around £8,000 per month.
Max was seen showing off the couple’s new place on Instagram, as he posted a photo of the apartment’s hallway after dressing it up with a plant and a designer Tom Ford table.
Complete with a candle and a mini plant to boot, Max joked: ‘Just a subtle hallway table,’ before confirming the big move, as he posted: ‘#newhome.’
He was also seen gushing over the view that comes with his new home, as he shared a snap of the city skyline at sunset.
Kris re-posted the same photos to his own Instagram page, with fans no doubt waiting to see plenty more from the pair when it comes to their place.
According to The Sun, their home is part of a skyscraper residence building in Manchester that comes with a roof garden, concierge, private pool, gym and yoga studio.
A source told the paper: ‘As first homes go, this is a doozy. Max and Kris are proud and excited to start the next phase of their relationship in style.
‘Moving to Manchester works well for them as it’s a central point between Leeds, where Max films Emmerdale, and London, where Kris does a lot of consultancy work.’
They added: ‘Plus, it’s close to Kris’ native Liverpool. It’s a long way from the rural village life of Emmerdale, but they’ve worked hard for what they’ve got.’
The move comes after Max and Kris publicly confirmed their relationship after jetting off on holiday together in September.
It’s believed the pair hit it off after meeting on the set of Emmerdale and enjoyed a string of dates together.
They no longer work together on the soap, however, as Kris’ character Lee was killed off after Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) sought revenge on behalf of his sister Victoria (Isabel Hodgins), who Lee had raped.
