Emmerdale’s Mark Jordon wows fans with hair transformation as he shares snap with buzz cut

Former Emmerdale star Mark Jordon wowed fans with a hair transformation earlier this week.

Taking to Instagram, the actor, 56, who previously played Daz Spencer on the ITV soap, shared a new snap with his signature curls replaced with a buzz cut, which he captioned with: "Step too far!"

Mark's 9,500 followers were left shocked over the hair transformation with some insisting he looked "way younger" while others questioned whether it was a "filter" as he posted a snap the next day with his usual hairdo.

In the photo, the actor wore a blue patterned shirt, which was unbuttoned and accessorised with a collection of necklaces, while his signature curls were replaced with a buzzcut.

Mark's followers were quick to share their thoughts, with one person writing: "You look way younger now."

A different account put: "Wow how much younger do you look, it really suits you," followed heart eye emojis.

Another fan wrote: "Wow you look completely different! love your curls you still look handsome."

While another follower questioned "is it a filter", with another fan adding: "I didn't recognise you at first but oh your lovely curls."

It comes after Mark and his partner Laura Norton, who plays Kerry Wyatt on Emmerdale, welcomed a baby boy called Jesse in January with the family recently moving to a new home in North Yorkshire.

Only recently, Laura made her explosive return to the ITV soap as Kerry after a lengthy pandemic-enforced maternity leave.

Talking to OK! about her return, she said: "My main fear was that I was going to find it really hard and miss Jesse too much. Because of Covid, we weren’t really able to see anybody for the first four months of his life, so we spent a lot of time together.

"The first few weeks back at work were really difficult, but now I’m going, “Well, I’ve got to earn a living and he’s really happy seeing me when I come back.

"At the moment, Mark is a full-time dad. I’m sure he’ll go away to work at some point too, so it’s something we’ll have to look into."
