First look at Jamie Lomas’ soap return after threat that saw Asan N’Jie sacked

Jamie Lomas is returning to Hollyoaks following his shocking brawl with Asan N'Jie.

The actors clashed at the TV Choice Awards in September, with Emmerdale's Asan heard threatening to stab and kill Jamie in terrifying footage captured by the Mirror.

Asan, 25, was seen and heard shouting at Jamie, 44: "Do you think you are a f*****g big man? I’m going to f*****g kill you. I’m going to f*****g knife you."

The incident led to Asan being sacked from his role as Ellis Chapman in the ITV soap.

And now, after an absence from Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, Jamie is returning as Warren Fox in 2020.

He's already on set, with the official Instagram sharing a snap of him behind the scenes.

They said: "Look who's back! That's right @jamielomas21 is back on the #Hollyoaks set once again! Who's looking forward to Warren's return in 2020?

"We can't wait! #Hollyoaks #TheFoxIsBack #WelcomeBack #BehindTheScenes"

It got fans very excited.

One said: "Yaaaaasssss finally .. cant wait for the twins storyline"

While another said: "Omg love him, my favourite villain"

And one commented: "So happy he coming back!"

Back in July, Jamie made a cameo appearance on the soap, but it was confirmed he'd be heading back full time next year, as the show celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Hollyoaks executive producer Bryan Kirkwood said at the time: "Warren Fox is one of our greatest ever characters and our most dynamic, complex villain. Jamie Lomas is a leading man who we can't wait to have back."

And Jamie said: "Warren is back in the village and when the Fox is back, trouble isn't far behind him.

"The village best be on their toes because there is plenty of unfinished business."

One of Warren's final storylines saw him kidnap his ex Sienna Blake's twins Sophie and Sebastian.

After spotting two children she believed were her own, Sienna came up with a plan to kidnap them from their au pair.

Actress Anna Passey, who plays Sienna, previously opened up to Mirror Online about what Warren's return will mean for her character.

She told us: "Whatever happens, Warren and Sienna have got to come head-to-head at some point.

"I don't think the village is big enough for both of them so it'll be interesting to see how that's gonna go.

"Whatever happens, it's an exciting time to have Sienna and Warren back together – whether that's on the same side or opposite."
