Former Neighbours star Caitlin Stasey has racy new career as porn film director

Former Neighbours star Caitlin Stasey now directs steamy porno films after leaving Ramsey Street behind.

The 30-year-old has had a big career change since leaving the show more than ten years ago.

Caitlin rose to fame in the Australian soap as troubled teen Rachel Kinski from 2005-2009.

She later went on to star in Tomorrow When The War Began with Lincoln Lewis.

But now she is behind the camera and is directing short pornographic films for female-led erotic site Afterglow.

The star says the content created is a form of 'female empowerment' – but Covid has been putting the racy films on ice.

Speaking to Women's Wear Daily she says she couldn't be happier with her sudden career move.

The actress said: "It's a queer-run and operated company. It's a very cool group of women making some very good stuff.

"We were all set to make several films in February, but things have gotten really, really dicey out in LA.

"Making a regular film during COVID-19 is tough, but making a pornographic film during COVID-19? Virtually impossible."

Late last year, she gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the raunchy set.

Afterglow was founded in 2020 and it is clearly a company Caitlin feels passionately about.

It is described as a 'sex positive, pleasure-focused platform'.

Afterglow was founded last year by Lilly Sparks.

She started the business when she realised there was a huge lack of resources for women and pleasure.

Caitlin has been outspoken in her support for female sexuality, body positivity and the #freethenipple campaign.

She has also been working on her new drama series Bridge and Tunnel.
