AFTER years of on-screen flirting Gemma Collins has finally collaborated with Piers Morgan for an emotional tell-all interview.
We hear The GC’s grilling on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories is explosive and includes shocking details about her on-off eight-year relationship with Towie co-star James 'Arg' Argent.
The bubbly blonde joins the likes of Lionel Richie, Sir Rod Stewart, Sir Elton John, Pamela Anderson and Dame Joan Collins to be quizzed by the straight-talking Good Morning Britain host and she is the first Towie star to feature on the ITV show.
They spent more than six hours filming on Friday for the episode, which is due to air in several months.
She opened up about dealing with Arg’s cocaine addiction and how she dialled 999 on several different occasions during his dangerous drugs benders, fearing he would die.
She also told of the cruelty she endured when he branded her a “fat f***” and a “hippo” earlier this year, as well as previous abusive relationships, including when ex-boyfriends have been violent towards her.
Piers, famous for making his subjects blub, will also probe The GC on becoming a self-made millionaire and her struggle to become a mother and have kids.
A telly source said: “It was an emotional rollercoaster and Gemma opened up to him about deeply personal subjects, including how toxic her relationship with Arg had become and some exes who were abusive to her.
“It was a cathartic experience, though, and she’s proud of how far she’s come.”
If anyone had any doubts, we’d definitely say she’s earned her divaship now.
Jaws blimey, Maya
MAYA Jama recently made her acting debut in Katherine Ryan's raunchy Netflix comedy series The Duchess – but her next role sees her up against a most unpleasant co-star.
The TV host and budding actress will be attacked by a shark in her first major movie, which she hopes to film in the Caribbean later this year.
A source close to the star – who posted on to Instagram these shots of her and Rizzle Kicks singer Jordan Stephens on the set of their ITV2 quiz show Don’t Hate The Playaz – said: “Maya is psyched about kickstarting her acting. It’s been a long time coming, as the film keeps getting pushed back due to Covid. The shark attack will be dramatic – but Maya can handle it.”
Earlier this year she said: “I was supposed to be filming my first film, and we had to push it back because of lockdown but it’s exciting . . . in the Caribbean.”
It’s Boyzone the movie, by Shane
BOYZONE look set to be the latest music artists to release a biopic about their lives.
It follows 2018’s Bohemian Rhapsody, about rockers Queen, and Elton John's Rocketman last year.
Now singer Shane Lynch has revealed he and band- mates Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham are in talks about an edgy flick focusing on their working-class roots in Ireland.
He said: “It’s an amazing project, we’re talking to Hollywood about turning the Boyzone story into a movie, with an Irish tone.
“It’s important that it’s done right, telling each member’s own story within the piece, about them growing up and at school.
“We’re trying to avoid the whole musical side of things, it’s about the rawness of Ireland and growing up in working-class families and making it into one of the biggest bands in the world.
“We’re trying not to go too much into the music industry side of things, as that can be a little bit boring. It’s about the early days and how we ended up being world-famous.”
Shane already has plans for the movie.
He said: “I would love Zayn Malik to play me. I like his quirks, I’ve always looked at him as being similar to me – edgy and different.”
Meanwhile Shane is busy with his new Nineties super-group Boyz On Block, which he has formed with 5ive's Abz Love, Another Level's Dane Bowers and Phats & Small's Ben Ofoedu.
They are releasing a cover in November, of US R&B duo K-CI & JOJO’s 1998 track All My Life.
He said: “It’s fun having a new project. I’m the desigated driver for the band so have to be mature, drive everyone around and make sure they get to places on time.”
He also reports that he and wife Sheena are now back together after a brief separation during lockdown.
He said: “We’re good, we went through a difficult time, that many people went through, and we continue to work on our relationship. Marriage is a difficult thing.
“I’ll always be working on our relationship, because that’s what people should be doing.”

Deeley's round the bend
CAT Deeley credits yoga for keeping her on the right side of old age.
The TV presenter said: “I’d probably have the body of a 76-year-old if it wasn’t for yoga. I am very stiff and not flexible at all.
“I’ve been doing it for 25 years and I’m still not a Madonna or anything. But it makes my body feel good, it reminds me to breathe and it gives my head a bit of space.”
Cat recently filmed a reunion with SM:TV Live co-hosts Ant and Dec earlier this month for a one-off episode.
The trio became household names on the Saturday morning ITV show, which ran from 1998 to 2003.

MEL C has slammed “unrealistic” celebs who have cosmetic surgery.

“Young people are being bombarded again with very unrealistic images and that’s something I find very concerning. Even as a grown-up, it’s impossible.
"We look at celebrities out there, I don’t want to name names, and think they look amazing, and it’s very much enhanced. And if I’m affected by it then a very impressionable 11-year-old girl has to be affected by it.”
