Gogglebox is set to return to our screens this month with a whole new series as our favourite families share their views on the week’s telly.
And it’s recently been revealed that some of the Channel 4 stars have made quite the profit from their overnight fame through their running commentary from their sofas.
LoanPig has looked at the Gogglebox cast who will be taking part in the 18th series and has calculated which star earns the most money per post on Instagram.
New figures have revealed the top earner among the bunch is the Queen of mugs herself, Sophie Sandiford who is earning up to £2,302 per post on average.
The northern lass boasts a total of 461,000 followers online with her Blackpool brother following behind as the second highest earner from the programme.
The dad-to-be has become a fan-favourite on the show despite the pair only joining in 2017 and could earn up to £1,892 per Instagram post.
Hot on their tail is the professional hairdresser Ellie Warner who has stolen the third spot.
The glamour puss has an impressive 350k followers online as well as many more who follow her home décor and hairdressing accounts.
It is estimated that the Yorkshire lass rakes in around £1,747 each time she posts on Instagram, with her sister Izzi next in line earning approximately £1,460 per post to her 291,000 followers.
At the other end of the leader board, Giles Wood, who has just 11 followers on the social media platform, doesn’t earn a penny for his sporadic posts.
And although Vanessa Malone hosts an impressive fanbase of 1,879 followers online, she too doesn’t earn anything when she posts a picture.

Sitting comfortably in the middle of the board are Welsh sweethearts Shirley and David Griffiths who boast a collective 86,400 Instagram followers on their joint account and can earn up to £590 for each post.
Another mid-fielder is one of the three brothers Tristan Plummer who boasts 12,000 followers on Instagram which would comfortably earn him £141 per post on the social media platform.
Stephen Webb, who joined the show for the first time in back in May, has since gained 37,000 in the space of only four months.
This comes after two Gogglebox favourited passed away in the last two weeks, including Mary Cook who passed away at the age of 92 whilst in hospital surrounded by her family.
The second death confirmed was loving father Andy Michael who passed away at the age of 61 following his short illness.
