The former Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been making headlines for years but none more so than when they took a step down as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020. Now two years on, a Netflix docu-series will give fans more of an insight into why they decided to leave their lives behind in the UK was necessary. Here’s all there is to know about watching Harry and Meghan.

What time is Harry and Meghan out on Netflix?

The documentary Harry and Meghan will premiere on Thursday, December 8, on Netflix.

While the show is all about the dynamic of the Royal Family, its release time will be in accordance with Netflix’s headquarters which is in San Francisco.

The episodes are going to be out at the same moment but due to the globe being split into various time zones, the time itself will differ.

Netflix’s HQ and the rest of the USA that lives by PST (Pacific Standard Time) can expect the series to be out just after midnight on the release date.

Elsewhere, those living on the east coast can watch Harry and Meghan from 3am EST (Eastern Standard Time).

If you reside in the UK though, the documentary is going to be out on Netflix at 8am GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).

Most of Europe runs around one hour ahead of the UK, meaning these countries will get access from about 9am.

Unfortunately, the entire series won’t be available to watch in one go.

Harry and Meghan has been split into two parts, which is no longer uncommon for popular Netflix series.

From Money Heist to Ozark and Firefly Lane to the upcoming fourth series of You, Netflix is hoping to build more of a buzz around its content with this kind of scheduling format.

Harry and Meghan will be made up of six episodes in total with just the first three out on December 8.

Fans won’t have to wait too long though for the rest of the series as the final three instalments will be out the following week on Thursday, December 15.

Two trailers have come out so far to whet Netflix subscribers’ appetite for the show.

The first aired on December 1 and the second came out on December 5 with the announcement that the series would be split in two.

In the most recent trailer, Prince Harry is heard saying: “It’s really hard to look back on it now and go, ‘What on earth happened?'”

Clips from the early days of Harry and Meghan’s relationship are shown with the media describing her as a “royal rockstar”.

The teaser quickly takes a darker turn when scenes are shown of Meghan being flocked by the paparazzi.

Prince Harry also states how he didn’t want “history to repeat itself”, referencing the death of his own mum, Princess Diana.

He adds: “Everything changed, there’s a hierarchy in the family.

“You know, there’s leaking, but there’s also planting of stories.”

Harry & Meghan will debut on Thursday, December 8, on Netflix.
