Hollyoaks’ Callum Kerr gets engaged to partner Olivia Anderson with dazzling diamond ring

Hollyoaks star Callum Kerr has announced he is engaged to his partner Olivia Anderson.

Taking to Instagram on Friday 26 November, the actor, who played PC George Kiss, shared a sweet snap from the proposal.

In the photo it saw Callum pose with Olivia who put her hand over his mouth to show off the dazzling diamond ring.

The soap star captioned the sweet snap with: "Bout last night @imolivialauren," followed by an engagement ring emoji.

Callum's 66K followers were quick to share their excitement over the news as they flocked to the comments section.

Hollyoaks star Rishi Nair said: "Ehhhhh congratulations to you both!!" followed by a heart emoji.

Nadine Mulkerrin wrote: "Awwwwwww guys," followed by a collection of heart emojis.

David Tag commented: "Amazing mate! Congratulations," followed by a heart emoji.

While Ariana Fraval added: "Ahhh gorgeous congrats you two," followed with hearts.

Callum played PC George Kiss on Hollyoaks from January 2020 until May 2021.

The actor met Olivia in her home town of Austin, Texas in 2016 with the two travelling between the UK and US to pursue their romance.

Olivia had previously moved to the UK and earlier this year the couple moved to Austin with the duo now sweetly engaged.

Callum recently revealed he wants to continue his acting career in the US, telling The Sun : "Working on Glow and Darkness with some huge American names is a good start to doing a few more international projects.

"But it's also important to stay authentic and hopefully there's a lot of work in the UK as well because there's some great projects, amazing people and great shows and films coming out.

"It's always good to have an excuse to visit home as well so if I could work it out to be fifty per cent here and fifty per cent back home that would be perfect."

Hollyoaks continues on weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4 and 7pm on E4.
