Hollyoaks confirm first-look episode double bill special in E4 schedule shake-up

Hollyoaks will air two first-look episodes tonight (July 14) in a schedule shake-up.

Channel 4 will air the soap at 6.30pm this evening as usual before two episodes are broadcast back-to-back on E4 at 7pm and 7.30pm.

The double episode will be repeated on Channel 4 on Thursday (July 15), airing at 6pm and 6.30pm, before a first-look episode airs on E4 at 7pm.

On Friday (July 16) there will be no Hollyoaks shown on either channel, with Channel 4 showing Live Formula 1 coverage and E4 airing an episode of The Big Bang Theory.

Fans will have plenty to watch during the exciting double bill as Martine Deveruax (Kellé Bryan) shops for an outfit for a night out but is shaken when her hair falls out mid-try.

At home, she cries over her loss of hair just as ex Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) shows up with a bunch of her favourite flowers.

In touching scenes, she confides in him and Felix helps her to shave her head, and they spend a heartfelt, platonic, night together.

Meanwhile, Richard's girlfriend Grace Black (Tamara Black) waits for him at home.

After Felix spends the night at Martine’s, they agree to keep it between them, so he lies to Grace when she asks where he was all night, but will she find out the truth?

Meanwhile, Sami (Rishi Nair) confides in partner Verity Hutchinson (Eva O'Hara) and she admits that she helped Shaq do a DNA test.

Sami shows her a letter that came through the post that seems to be the DNA results, but there is another twist in the tale.

The lawyer is unsure whether to tell Shaq about the shocking discovery and the pair have a heartfelt conversation.

Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) discovers that Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) isn’t postponing his wedding to Summer Ranger (Rhiannon Clements) any longer but how will he react?

Elsewhere, when Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) finds out the wedding is back on, she doesn’t offer the same calmness and instead asks Summer to stop playing games with Brody.

A minor slip-up allows Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) to get hold of a pair of tweezers.

As soon as Summer leaves her alone, Liberty tries to use them on the door in an attempt to escape, but will her plan work?
