Hollyoaks Liam ISN’T dead and will return for revenge on killer sister Grace, claim fans – The Sun

HOLLYOAKS fans have claimed that Liam Donovan ISN'T dead and will return for revenge on his killer sister.

Last night viewers of the Channel 4 soap were left shocked when he was murdered by his own sister Grace Black – but some fans believe that he's still alive.

Viewers took to Twitter to voice their theory that he will come back to make his sibling's life a living hell because she was the one who decided to let go of his tie ,causing him to fall to his death.

One wrote: "Am I the only the only one who thinks Liam is still alive? #Hollyoaks"

Another said: "Liam is not dead #Hollyoaks #whoshotmercedes #e4"

A third tweeted: "Noooooo not Liam. Let's hope there is another twist on this & he's not really dead & he comes back to cause more trouble."

Another tweeted: "I’m not believing Liam is dead unless they set up the truth #Hollyoaks."

A fifth wrote: "I don’t think he’s dead. For a start Courtney said ‘you let Liam fall’ not die."

Grace had finally had enough of Liam's revenge schemes and so when he tried to kill her, so she ended him instead.

Over the last few months Liam had been slowly losing the plot and became obsessed with destroying the people he blames for the misfortunate in his own life.

He lured his sister, Mercedes McQueen, James Nightingale and Maxine Minniver to the pub for his devils' dinner party after exposing that Grace and James were the two who really shot Mercedes.

He then gave her his gun and an ultimatum –  shoot Grace and everyone else walks free.

Warren Fox then broke in to save them and gave most of them a chance to escape, but at the last moment Liam grabbed Mercedes and was about to kill her before Grace punched him away.

Grabbing his tie she stopped him from falling to his death into the cellar – but only for a second.

"You have gone too far, you have to stop. I'm not a Donovan – I'm a Black," she said as she let go off his tie and sent him plummeting to his death.

Confirming he was dead, Mercedes told a horrified Maxine and Courtney: "He's dead."

Jude Monk Mc-Gowan's departure from the soap left his on screen sister Tamara Wall devastated that he had been killed off.

She said: "I am gutted!! Me and Jude have the nicest relationship. He is one of the nicest and most genuine person I know, and he’s a brilliant actor, and a joy to work with."

Fellow cast mate Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen in the soap, revealed that Jude had been her security blanket since returning to the show after her maternity leave.

She added: "I miss him already! My god I have enjoyed working with him.

"Since coming back off maternity leave, nearly two years ago, him and David have just been my little security blankets. They have always been there for me when I’ve not slept too much. They always get me a coffee, or just drag me, and keep me going!

"I’m going to miss him dearly! I’ve made a lovely friend there. He’s such a cool guy, and he’s so talented. When we do scenes together, I love what he brings out in me, and I’ve got a massive thank you to him for that."
