THINGS are set to go from bad to worse on Hollyoaks for James Nightingale.
He hasn't had it easy lately and things will take a turn when he is kicked out by his family after violently attacking son Romeo.
James (Gregory Finnegan) was left devastated when he learned that the love of his life Harry (Parry Glasspool) had been murdered.
Unable to process this news, the solicitor hit the bottle and started bringing men back to his place to party all night – which hasn't gone down well with his mum Marnie (Lysette Anthony).
Things took a dramatic turn when he almost jumped off the archway – but Romeo (Owen Warner) managed to stop him from doing so.
But Romeo bore the brunt of James' pain when, after an explosive argument ,James punched him.
Viewers then saw James wracked with guilt over his actions, which then saw Romeo fleeing to the Maaliks’ empty house.
In the coming episodes, Peri (Ruby O’Donnell) finds Romeo hiding from his dad and encourages him to make amends with James.
However, Peri later sees James getting rather aggressive with Marnie as he grabs her by the arm, and, as a result, she understands why Romeo fled.
Later, Marnie discovers the truth about why Romeo left and she’s disgusted at her son over his violent actions.
As a result, she heads around to the Maaliks’ and begs Romeo to give James another chance.
Meanwhile, Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) also finds out about the attack and she’s furious with James and then accuses him of pushing Harry away too.
This sends James into a rage and Marnie arrives just in the nick of time to see James lose his temper with Juliet.
At the end of her tether Marnie tells James he has to leave the family home – but what will this do to the already troubled James?
- Catch the action from Tuesday October 15, at 7pm on E4.
